Publications by Josefina Chacín Ducharne
All the books of the “New Earth” series were written by Josefina Chacín Ducharne, the slave of the Lord, unless otherwise indicated.
«All these writings recall and clarify, from its most profound roots, a truth which humanity today feels in deep need of. They do not refer just to the emotional or moral aspects of human life, but they shed light on the origin of man, on the process of development he is undergoing today, on the moment of the evolution he is living, and on his final realization, which gives meaning to his existence.
These writings make known what are God’s designs, because they lift the veils which impede the unitary vision of the unique Reality which everywhere in the Scriptures is announced.»

Origin and foundation of her books
«Josefina, as she herself expresses it, has never felt herself to be the author of the books she has written, since they are the fruit of revelations received from the Being. For this reason, they do not appear under her name but rather under the name of the person who presents them.
Flights to the New Earth
A description, both conceptual and graphic, of the great awakening of man from the dark “night” of the unconsciousness in which he is submersed to the full light of Consciousness when, breaking the shell of his “self,” he soars in lofty “flight” toward the encounter with his complementary Divine Reality, his true Being.
A companion to The “New Earth” of the new man.

The History of the Universe and the Origin of Man
The Bible and the “Message to the men of the New Earth”
The book sheds new light on the first three chapters of Genesis, a Light received in an experience lived in the soul. It presents the evolutionary process of the psycho-physical formation of the Human Nature in the bosom of this created Universe, and the awakening of the Divine consciousness in man – masculine and feminine – as well as its loss by their succumbing to the temptation to be «like God, knowers of good and evil.»

Man’s Pilgrimage towards the “New Earth”
This booklet is an introductory synopsis of the “Message to the men of the New Earth.” It was printed in four languages on the occasion of an Exposition of the drawings and books of the “New Earth” Series in the Franciscan “Christian Information Centre” in Jerusalem, during the years 1979-1981.
The Exposition, centered on the theme of the inner pilgrimage, had the purpose of offering a moment of reflection, especially for pilgrims to the Holy Land.
Pilgrimage of the People of God
The work illustrates the great return of Man to the eternal bosom from which he sprang forth, passing through a long pilgrimage in time, traced out in the Biblical revelation from Genesis to the Apocalypse. This pilgrimage was lived as image in Israel’s Exodus from Egypt and its journey towards the Promised Land, and has been lived as reality, in its “first fruits,” in the death-to-self and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is man’s journey, into the depths of himself, towards the encounter with his true Being, as an individual person as well as a member of the universal People of God.
(The two volumes are currently being prepared)
Living the Gospel with the Mother
The word “Mother,” in its highest acceptation, is the name ascribed to the Will of God, who, through the instrumentality of the humble Mary, let it be done unto me according to thy word, begot the Word in Mary’s day…. This same Will is the “Mother” who nourished the man Jesus with Herself, from the very beginning to the supreme moment of his existence among us: My food is to do the will of Him who has sent me ….
To think that we can nourish ourselves with the Word of God and can “live the Gospel” without tending toward this unity with God’s Will –the “Mother”– and without depending on Her, is a vain and sterile presumption, for no one other than She can communicate to us the authentic Spirit of the “Word of God.”
“I,” in Christ Arisen
The mystical path, according to the spirit of St. Theresa of Ávila and St. John of the Cross in thirteen stanzas and their corresponding explanations, was received by the slave of the Lord in Avila, Spain.
The reader is invited to undertake the spiritual pilgrimage guided by the Spirit of Truth through the straight and narrow path, encountering temptations, aridities, dark nights, Tabor experiences…, until he is finally confronted with the decision to freely accept the invitation to the death-to-self on the cross of the Will of God, to be resurrected “in Christ Arisen eventually.”
This contemporary presentation of the mystical path makes it accessible to the ordinary man, to each and every person of good will who goes with groans, seeking through other ways the happiness he has left in his Creator.
Insights and Inspirations
by Josefina Chacín Ducharne la esclava del Señor
This supplement to Messages of Life gathers together some new intuitions received in the subsequent years in her intimate communion with the Lord.
A World according to the Heart of God
by Máximo Macías, as fruit of his conversations with Josefina Chacín Ducharne
The book, redacted in 1963-64 by Fr. Máximo Macías, a Franciscan Capuchin Priest who assisted the slave of the Lord in the early years of her spiritual journey, reflects, in addition to his own convictions, her new vision assimilated by him during the five years of their spiritual sharing.
Money, authority, love, sex, and other thorny issues of this world of Permission – where God submits the energy of His Will to the liberty of the creatures – are seen and judged in the light of the World according to His eternal Design, which can only be realized through man’s free and loving surrender to His Divine Will.
The Consummation of Time
by Máximo Macías, as fruit of his conversations with Josefina Chacín Ducharne
The text of this book, originally intended to be the final chapter of A World according to the Heart of God, was later on enriched and clarified by the slave of the Lord in the light of a deeper understanding of the “Message” received.
«It discovers in the present-day events the “hidden mystery” that is to be revealed at the “Consummation of Time,” “Time” which God has given man so that he may come to Consciousness and consummate his power of choice: either by his affirmation in the “ego-self” or by his affirmation in his true Being through the denial of self after the example of Jesus Christ.»

A Case of Conscience
Documentation and Essay by J. R. Guillent Pérez
Documentary presentation of the “Message to the men of the New Earth” and of the person who transmits it, Josefina Chacín Ducharne.
It is a compilation, in a sequential order, of the various events that took place in the life of the Messenger in connection with the Message from 1954 to the year 1998.
What has motivated the authors to produce this work is their «deep conviction that everything related to this new consciousness is the sign of a decisive moment for all humanity.» Three friars receive a call to depend directly and unconditionally on the will of God, by following the demands of their conscience. The call comes through a message for a “New Earth” given to a Venezuelan woman in a series of mystical revelations in Venezuela, Assisi, Avila, and at the Milk Grotto in Bethlehem…
Professor Guillent Pérez, a Venezuelan philosopher, presents the original letters and other documents, together with a lively introductory Essay and a series of Reflections. What emerges is a modern religious controversy “par excellence,” a classic confrontation between a soul seeking realization through the inner voice of conscience, and a church seeking to legitimate its outer authority through institutional power.»

The Trajectory of a New State of Consciousness
by Claudia C. Llovera and Zitta Waleska Eisenthal
A sequence of forty-nine bold and probing questions presented by a Catholic Theologian and searching University Professor to Josefina for the purpose of clarifying for himself and for others the extent to which the “Message to the men of the New Earth” coincides with or differs from the tradition of the Roman Catholic teaching.
In the interviewer’s opinion, Josefina’s intuitions could enhance what is accepted in Christianity and provide an opportunity for a fruitful discussion among theologians. He insinuates that this may be «the time for revising, enriching, and revitalizing a part of the Christian Dogma in order to make it more universal, more ecumenical and more dynamic.»

Woman: help, temptation and complementarity of man
Writings of la esclava del Señor
A series of meditations on the burning, ever-relevant issue of the authentic role of woman in relation to man, and vice versa, within the framework of a higher vision of the Whole. What is strongly stressed is the essential complementary unity of the masculine and feminine aspects of human nature, as a living image of a transcendent Reality.
New light is also shed on the human couple’s concrete relationship, with a penetrating analysis of their earthly condition and a good deal of insightful advice on the mutual behavior of man and woman for each one’s self-realization within the unity of the couple.
Letters of Life
by Josefina Chacín Ducharne la esclava del Señor
«The rich, enlightening contents of these letters are part of a History that God Himself – the Being who “IS” – writes from Eternity, working out His designs by means of different circumstances, concrete events and specific persons, in the language of His Will. His “pen strokes” can turn out to be mysterious and disconcerting, but no human being is uninvolved with or alien to these designs.
From the letters and their explanations, there emerges a message that concerns each and everyone…. They are a great opportunity for all those who yearn to finally encounter the Reality hidden within themselves and in the interior of all things: God, the Being who “IS.” This Reality – no matter how hidden and dormant it may lie in the depths of the human being – can only be perceived by the soul, because it is to her that the Spirit is speaking today, as He has always done.»

Time, “the times” and the “end of Time”
MEDITATIONS by Josefina Chacín Ducharne la esclava del Señor
In her meditations on time, the slave of the Lord develops a new conception of this elusive and all pervasive dimension of man’s life.
Time is essentially associated with the exercise of the free beings’ power of choice. It is not related to the cultural, scientific, technological, and economic progress that characterizes secular history, but it is seen in relation to God. It is above all an opportunity to choose consciously and conscientiously, in each concrete circumstance of daily life, between the Will of God and the will of the creature.
This new perspective can be an antidote to the fundamentalistic interpretations of the Biblical prophecies and promises, which, as she affirms, will surely be fulfilled, but first and foremost in man himself, through his inner transformation according to his faith and free collaboration.

Between Two Worlds
MEDITATIONS by Josefina Chacín Ducharne la esclava del señor
«These two “worlds” exist inside of us (as an attitude) and outside of us (as a System); one is ruled by love and is oriented outwards for the sake of serving others with utter self-forgetfulness, always seeking the good and happiness of all, according to the Will of God; the other is ruled by egoism and is oriented outwards for the sake of one’s own benefit, using others for the purpose of exercising an egoic power over them…
These two worlds are like two parallel lines that never meet. The passage from one world to the other involves a dislocation for the human being: either he denies himself, encountering his true Being, or he affirms himself in himself, remaining in the non-being – either Love or Power.» From the letters and their explanations, there emerges a message that concerns each and everyone….

The “Message to the men of the New Earth” and the Institutional Church
by Josefina Chacín Ducharne la esclava del Señor
A stimulating vision on the complex reality of every institutionalized church or religion, with a clear-cut, subtle distinction between “Church” and “Institution,” and their different origins, a distinction that can be liberating for many souls.
«The ambiguous, ambivalent character of all institutionalized faith – a mixture of faith and rational security, of conscience and selfish interests, of the yearning for love and the craving for power, of deep unconsciousness and of many good intentions – is nothing else but the reflected, magnified image of man himself, of every man, of the unfinished work that we all are, being destined, by our very essence, to transcend the present state and to come out of the ambiguity.»

Watch and Pray!
Prayers of Josefina Chacín Ducharne la esclava del Señor
A compilation of prayers that through the years have sprung forth, on various occasions, from the intimate faith of the slave of Lord. What characterizes them is the centrality of the orientation to the Will of God and the insistent petition to be granted the grace to reject any form of egoistic energy.
Through these prayers one can verify, once more, the truth of the classic principle that the way of praying is the most authentic manifestation of one’s true faith.
I do not Pray for the World
MEDITATIONS by Josefina Chacín Ducharne la esclava del Señor
A courageous, unsparing exposure of man’s condition in a world dominated by the power of the spirit of evil, and the re-proposal of the way of being liberated from it by struggling against the egocentric energy of the self, after the example of Jesus, so as to make room in oneself for the purifying activity of the Holy Spirit.
